Reminiscent of another review, "it isn't phenomenal, but it's Decatur, and you're lucky this is even here." Nothing AMAZING, but when you're looking for quick Japanese eats, especially Japanese grill food with large portions, this place exceeds expectations. This was a DoorDash delivery. I got the steak noodles and the chicken noodles, which is essentially steak with lo mein noodles and chicken with lo mein noodles. Through DoorDash, the price was between 13-14 dollars each. The portions are HUGE. Like, GIGANTIC. These to-go dishes essentially weigh several pounds each. I made a huge mistake ordering both! Regardless, the meat is well-seasoned. It comes with the creamy sauce (think yum yum sauce) that can sometimes be nice addition, but if added too heavily, ruins the flavor because it's so thick and salty. They offer the stuff you'd expect: hibachi steak and chicken, shrimp dishes, shrimp an veggie dishes, hibachi salmon, Tokyo combos (chicken and shrimp, steak and chicken, steak and shrimp etc).
This restaurant is awesome! I've had great service every time. Food is delicious and there's enough hibachi for leftovers. They also have a wide variety of delicious sushi options! The vibe inside is really nice, it's a great place to go for a nice dinner or a casual lunch.

My husband and I both love sushi. We've both had really bad sushi and quality sushi. Since moving into town, we've eaten here 3 times. If you look at the profiles of the posters who made negative comments about Toki, that's all they do is post negative comments like a typical Karen. Every time we go to pick up there is a line of people waiting for their food so if it's anything they do wrong is maybe give bad estimates on when food would be ready. A bad restaurant wouldn't have a line at all.
